ABOUT THROUGH ROAD EARLY LEARNING
Through Road Early Learning (TREL) is long day care service incorporating a funded 3-year-old kinder program and a funded 4-year-old kinder program, providing both full time and part time places for up to 44 children per day.
TREL is a community-based, non-profit childcare centre, run entirely by a committee of parents, making it truly a community resource. Complete care is provided for children aged six months to six years, with high staff to child ratios and a dedicated, qualified team.
At TREL, we prioritise the safety of children and will not tolerate child abuse or harm. We believe a leader's behaviour is key to a child safe culture. TREL leaders always and will champion child safe practices and lead by example, modelling the behaviour expected of staff and volunteers and not tolerating behaviours harmful to children.
At TREL, we establish a culturally safe environment in which the diverse and unique identities and experiences of Aboriginal children and young people are respected and valued. Strategies are embedded in the Centre that every child has ability to express their culture and enjoy their cultural rights is encourages and actively supported.
